Yoga for Fertility

Whether you are a woman planning to become pregnant this year or have been trying for many years, join us to experience yoga for fertility.

Class will focus on:

-Discussion of how yoga can decrease stress and promote fertility

-Experience breath for relaxation

-Learning yoga poses and stretches that bring energy to reproductive organs

-Guided imagery and meditation for fertility

-Weekly topics to support the journey

Blessingway

A Blessingway is a ceremony to support and empower expectant mothers. This celebration brings together women to experience community, guided meditation and releasing fears by calling upon female strength in a time that is so transformational in a woman’s journey.

Belly Cast

A belly cast is a plaster sculpture of an expectant woman’s belly for a lasting keepsake of the pregnancy. Belly casts are often made during the 7th or 8th month of pregnancy and some women choose to make a series of them capturing the progression of their pregnancy. Belly casts are made by preparing the skin with an earth-friendly lubricant and then strips of wet medical grade plaster gauze are layered over the pregnant belly. The plaster sets in about 30 minutes. After air-drying the belly cast can be decorated with any number of finishes or designs or left in its natural state. A belly cast is a beautiful and ever-lasting way to capture the mom’s shape and the special nine months shared with her growing baby.
