One of Jacqueline's favorite Zen quotes is: "Thousands of candles can be lit from a single candle, and the life of the candle will not be shortened. Happiness never decreases by being shared.”
Jacqueline brings some new talents and specialties to Family Tree, having come to Des Moines from New Mexico, with a brief stint in the Omaha area.
After graduating from New Mexico's Crystal Mountain Massage School in 1999, Jacqueline maintained a massage business until 2013, when she re-located. She also worked as an instructor, teaching basic Swedish, chair massage and reflexology. She also had the opportunity to travel to several states to massage at some of the nation's largest most prestigious summer music festivals.
By identifying issues and hidden events located throughout the body, Jacqueline can connect or "un-connect" the dots, helping clients see which issues are related or are not related.
Jacqueline is trained and experienced in basic Swedish massage, reflexology (both the feet and the hands), elbow and hand Japanese shiatsu body work system of acupressure, polarity therapy, positional release therapy, craniosacral therapy and deep tissue massage. Craniosacral therapy is a light-touch technique that improves flow of blood and the cerebrospinal fluid that surrounds and protect the brain and spinal cord.
Jacqueline has used massage techniques to help clients deal with migraine headaches, acute and/or chronic pain, sprains and strains, spinal and rib cage pain, whiplash injuries, pain in limbs and joints, fibromyalgia, emotional difficulties, stress and tension.
