"It is through our hands that we speak to the child. That we communicate. Touch is the child’s first language, understanding comes long after feeling." – Frederick Leboyer
When I tell people I teach baby massage, sometimes I get some confused looks in return. “I’m sorry, did you say ‘baby massage?’ What in the world does a baby have to be stressed about?”
Baby massage is different than one of our trips to the spa.
If you answer yes to any of the following questions, then I would love to see you in this class: Do you want your baby to SLEEP BETTER? Do you want to give your partner another way to help with the baby? Or know how to touch the baby aside from the urge to toss them like a football? Do you want to help your baby gain weight? Do you want to reduce your chances of post partum depression? Do you want to help boost your baby’s immune system? Do you want to feel more confident as a parent? Do you want to have a stronger bond with your baby? Do you want to reconnect with your baby after being away at work all day?
Scared you can’t do it? Worried you wouldn’t be good at it? Not to worry - no experience necessary.
Just come with your baby and an open mind and I’ll provide the rest, including a helpful guide and some massage oil to take home with you.
This is a class for is for moms, dads, grandparents or any caregivers of babies ranging from birth to one year.

What others are saying about Couples Yoga for Birth Preparation: We really enjoyed Saturday’s class Sandi, thank you for creating such a unique bonding experience! Nate and I talked and this is what we think: Most helpful was the optional birthing positions and the stretching. We really liked stretching together and the meditation where we looked into each other’s eyes. We never take time for one another like that so it was great. Nate almost started crying, which in turn made me almost cry—it was great.
